The Hybrid Advantage
Why Hybrid Changes Everything
DreamCloud's 8-layer hybrid construction is engineered to deliver what no single-material mattress can — the pressure relief of memory foam combined with the responsive support and cooling airflow of individually wrapped coils.
The Science Behind the Sleep
Foam vs. Innerspring — Why Choose?
For decades, sleepers have been forced to choose between the cradling comfort of all-foam and the bouncy, breathable support of innerspring. DreamCloud was built on the belief that this is a false choice — and the hybrid mattress is the proof.

The Hybrid Philosophy
Two Technologies. One Unified Sleep System.
Memory foam was a revolution when it was introduced — the ability of a material to contour precisely to every curve of your body, relieving the pressure that builds up at your hips, shoulders, and lower back during the night, was genuinely transformative. But it came with a well-documented flaw: it traps heat. It also provides little to no responsive bounce, making it difficult to move freely during sleep.
Innerspring mattresses solved the heat and movement problems with their open coil construction — air circulates freely through the coil network, and the springs provide a responsive, easy-to-move-on surface. But they sacrificed comfort to do it, leaving pressure points unaddressed and transferring motion freely across the bed.
The DreamCloud hybrid does not ask you to compromise. Its layered construction places gel-cooled memory foam exactly where your body needs pressure relief, while the 1,000+ individually wrapped coil system beneath provides the support, airflow, and responsiveness that makes the sleep surface feel alive — not like you're sinking into quicksand.
Engineering Transparency
8 Layers. Every One Matters.
Most brands keep their construction vague. We think you deserve to know exactly what you're sleeping on and precisely why each layer is there. From the cashmere-blend surface to the stay-put foam base, here is the full DreamCloud construction — layer by layer.
Cashmere Blend Quilted Cover
1.5" thick
The outermost layer is a hand-tufted cashmere blend — the same material found in five-star hotel suites. It delivers an immediate softness against the skin while allowing heat and moisture to dissipate naturally. The quilted construction adds a lush, hotel-like texture that is both visually elegant and functionally superior to standard polyester covers.
Euro Quilted Memory Foam
1" thick
Directly beneath the cover sits a Euro-quilted layer of memory foam that adds a secondary layer of plush cushioning. This layer is responsible for the signature 'sink-in' feeling that DreamCloud is known for — it contours to your shoulders, hips, and knees to eliminate pressure points before they form.
Gel-Infused Memory Foam
2" thick
This is where DreamCloud's cooling technology lives. Gel beads are infused throughout the memory foam at a cellular level, absorbing body heat as you sleep and dispersing it away from your body. Unlike standard memory foam — notorious for trapping heat — this layer actively works against the thermal build-up that causes restless, overheated sleep.
Transition Comfort Foam
1.75" thick
A critical but often overlooked component, the transition foam layer bridges the gap between the soft comfort layers above and the firm coil system below. It prevents the uncomfortable 'bottoming out' sensation — where you feel the coils through the foam — while still transferring your weight evenly to the support core beneath.
Individually Wrapped Coil System
6" thick
The heart of the DreamCloud hybrid is 1,000+ individually wrapped innerspring coils engineered to respond to your body weight independently. Unlike connected coil systems that transfer motion across the mattress, each pocket spring compresses on its own. This means your partner's movement on their side of the bed does not disturb yours — and your body receives targeted, zoned support exactly where it is needed.
High-Density Support Foam
1.5" thick
Beneath the coil system, a high-density foam base layer provides a stable foundation that anchors the entire construction. This layer prevents the mattress from compressing unevenly over time and ensures that the coil system maintains consistent height and tension throughout the life of the mattress.
Edge Support Foam
Full perimeter thick
Reinforced high-density foam runs along the entire perimeter of the mattress, providing a solid, stable sleeping surface all the way to the edge. Sit on the side of the bed without feeling like you might roll off. Sleep near the edge without losing support. The full usable surface area of the DreamCloud is consistent from center to edge.
Stay-Put Foam Base
1" thick
The final layer is a dense, textured foam base designed to prevent the mattress from shifting on your bed frame or platform. It provides the structural integrity that holds all seven layers in perfect alignment and ensures that the DreamCloud's performance characteristics remain stable night after night, year after year.

Cooling Technology
Built to Keep You Cool All Night
Sleeping hot is one of the most common — and most disruptive — sleep complaints. When your core body temperature rises during the night, your sleep cycles shorten, you shift more frequently, and the restorative deep sleep phases become harder to reach. The cause is almost always the mattress.
Standard memory foam is the worst offender. Its dense, closed-cell structure traps body heat with remarkable efficiency — some all-foam mattresses can raise sleep surface temperature by up to 10 degrees Fahrenheit above room temperature within a single hour of use. DreamCloud's engineering team addressed this problem at every layer of the mattress construction.
The result is a mattress that actively works to regulate temperature, not just fail to worsen it — and the difference in sleep quality is significant.

Gel-Infused Memory Foam
Phase-change gel beads are infused throughout the memory foam layer at a cellular level. These beads absorb thermal energy as you sleep, preventing heat from accumulating at the surface. Unlike surface gel toppers — which work only until they saturate — the DreamCloud gel layer is integrated within the foam structure itself, providing continuous cooling throughout the night.
Open Coil Airflow Channel
The 6-inch individually wrapped coil core beneath the foam layers is not just a support system — it is a ventilation system. Air circulates freely through the open spaces between coils, drawing heat away from the upper foam layers and dissipating it through the sides and base of the mattress. This passive airflow system runs continuously and silently throughout the night.
Breathable Cashmere Cover
The cashmere blend quilted cover is a natural, highly breathable fiber. Cashmere has an inherently open weave structure that allows heat and moisture vapor to pass through readily, unlike synthetic covers that trap humidity against the skin. The quilted construction also creates micro-air pockets at the very surface — the first line of defense against heat retention.

The Support Core
1,000+ Coils. Each One Working Independently.
Traditional interconnected coil systems are a relic of early mattress engineering. When one coil compresses, the connected springs around it also move — transferring motion across the entire surface. This is why older innerspring mattresses were notorious for disturbing your partner every time you shifted position.
DreamCloud's individually wrapped coil system solves this comprehensively. Each of the 1,000+ coils is enclosed in its own fabric pocket, allowing it to compress and extend independently of every other coil. The result is a support surface that responds precisely to your body weight — heavier areas like your hips receive more compression and support, while lighter areas like your lower back are cradled rather than pushed.
The zoned design also means that motion on one side of the bed stays on that side of the bed — a critical feature for couples with different sleep schedules and styles.
